Browser storage on Wrooms

Version 2026.09.03-1 · Effective September 3, 2026. This page explains cookies and similar browser storage used by Wrooms.

Essential authentication

Wrooms uses secure cookies and short-lived OAuth transaction state to sign you in, bind an OAuth callback to the browser that started it, protect sessions, and complete account security flows. Essential authentication storage cannot be disabled while using signed-in features.

Preferences and product state

Wrooms can use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, cache storage, or similar device storage for preferences, accepted-agreement state, UI state, offline or performance data, local wallet-key vaults you intentionally create, and other features that need to remember information on that device.

Local wallet keys

If you import an Ethereum or Solana private key into Wrooms’ local external-key vault, the encrypted key record is stored on that device in browser storage and protected by the passphrase you choose. Clearing site data can remove that encrypted local record. L7 plates use a different service-side encrypted key architecture described in the Digital Asset Risk Disclosure.

Analytics and third parties

Wrooms can use first-party or service-provider technology to measure reliability, security, and product usage. Third-party integrations may set or read their own storage when you use them, subject to their policies. Wrooms does not currently use browser storage to sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your controls

Your browser or operating system may let you block or clear cookies and site data. Doing so can sign you out, remove preferences, clear local-only wallet records, or break features that depend on essential storage. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential storage, Wrooms will use appropriate consent controls before activating it.
