HLP-4 (Hash-Linked Proof) is a cryptographic validation hash that attests a transaction has been sealed across multiple blockchains over the public internet. A wrap on L7 Chain is a single composite digest: the L7C identifier concatenated with the current head of every live rail. It is a hash-link of the full multi-rail state, not a snapshot of any one chain. Occupancy is strictly 1:1. A failed seal produces no state change and no asset movement.
Public technical specification. Not a securities prospectus. Not legal advice.

1. Abstract
This is the technical specification of HLP (Hash-Linked Proof), formally the Aggregated Hash-Linked Protocol (AHLP). Live generation is HLP-4. Digest namespace is HLP-2. It describes the instrument as implemented on L7 Chain, readable at l7c.ai. It is not legal advice and not a securities prospectus.
The HLP (Hash-Linked Proof) is the wrap bind on L7 Chain. A wrap folds the live head of L7C and every rail spine into one SHA-256 digest. Live generation is HLP-4. The digest namespace remains HLP-2. A failed seal produces no state change and no asset movement.

2. History of the protocol
HLP was developed because a wrap that stamps one foreign tip is a screenshot. L7 Chain watches many rails at once. Occupancy is 1:1 against native locked in a published vault. The bind had to answer one question at lock time: while this native was locked, what did every watched chain look like? That answer is a cryptographic validation hash that attests a transaction has been sealed across multiple blockchains over the public internet — a hash-link — not a dashboard of someone else’s chain.
The blueprint did not change. Five planes, data only down: Wallet → Vault → Field → Hash-link → Book. A failed plane aborts. What changed is the field, the names, and how stables enter the digest.
| Generation | Name on the book | Field | Stable coins | Blueprint |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Founding | Aggregated Linked Hash Postulate | Idea: fold every live spine, no fixed order | Not in the bind. USDC, USDT (Tether), and DAI were not records. | Postulate only. No payload grammar. No digest namespace. |
| Protocol | Aggregated Linked Hash Protocol (ALHP), then Aggregated Hash-Linked Protocol (AHLP). Product name: HLP (Hash-Linked Proof). | Named instrument. L7C first. Rails as hash-linked spines. | Ride hosts. Not field members. A USDC wrap still committed L7C and rails, not a USDC slot. | Wallet → Vault → Field → Hash-link → Book. Combo is the full field. Cluster is gold on the map. |
| HLP-1 | HLP (Hash-Linked Proof). Tags HLP, AHLP, ALHP parse as the same protocol. | 19 records, fixed order. L7C + ADA…XRP. BASE, ARB, OP, HOOD are Ethereum L2 spines, not coins you buy. | USDC, USDT, DAI ride hosts only. Those sums are history, not the wrap hash. | Payload ASSET:height:hash joined on |. SHA-256 → 64 hex digest. HLP_PAYLOAD on the seal so the explorer can rebuild. |
| Short HLP | H1S — Short Hash-Link | Same HLP-1 / HLP-2 field. Projection, not a new digest. | Mask bit per field slot. A live stable sets its bit once it is a field member (HLP-2). | 20 Crockford characters. Version + live mask + braid-fold + CRC-8. The 64-hex digest remains the bind. |
| HLP-2 | HLP (Hash-Linked Proof), formally Aggregated Hash-Linked Protocol (AHLP) | 22 records. L7C first, then A–Z including DAI, USDC, USDT. Digest namespace HLP-2. | First-class field members. Each stable is an aggregated host bind: height = sum of host tips; hash = SHA-256 of those host records. Hosts keep their own slots. | Same five planes. Combo is 22. Short HLP v1 braids all 22. Verify SHA-256(payload) and H1S on /tx/{hash}. |
| HLP-3 | HLP (Hash-Linked Proof). Prior generation on L7-3 / wrooms-l7-3. | Same 22-slot field. Digest namespace remains HLP-2. Dual-gen verify of HLP-1 (19) and HLP-2/3 (22). | Same aggregated host binds. Field health score (live / hashed / lagging). Memo stamps G3 and H{score}. | Same five planes. Short HLP v2 (H1S version 2). v1 shorts still verify. |
| HLP-4 (live) | HLP (Hash-Linked Proof). Live generation on L7-4 / wrooms-l7-4. | Same 22-slot field. Digest namespace remains HLP-2. Quad-gen verify of HLP-1 (19) and HLP-2/3/4 (22). | Same aggregated host binds. Field health score (live / hashed / lagging). Memo stamps G4 and H{score}. | Same five planes. Short HLP v3 (H1S version 3). v1 and v2 shorts still verify. New wraps write HLP-4; old seals verify unchanged. |
Stable-coin implementation. A stable is not an L1 and not an L2. HLP-2 puts USDC, USDT, and DAI in the field as aggregated host binds without inventing a USDC chain. HLP-3 and HLP-4 do not reopen that field. HLP-4 is the live generation that writes and verifies those 22 slots, scores field health, and seals Short HLP v3.
Founding postulate
Protocol ALHP / AHLP / HLP named
HLP-1 19 slots. Stables ride hosts
Short HLP H1S projection
HLP-2 22 slots. DAI · USDC · USDT aggregated host binds
HLP-3 prior generation. Same 22-slot HLP-2 digest. Dual-gen verify. H1S v2. Field health.
HLP-4 live generation. Same 22-slot HLP-2 digest. Quad-gen verify. H1S v3. G4 memo stamps.
Planes (unchanged)
0 Wallet → 1 Vault → 2 Field → 3 Hash-link → 4 BookHLP-1 seals still verify under the 19-slot grammar. HLP-2, HLP-3, and HLP-4 wraps use the 22-slot grammar. The digest namespace is HLP-2. A further change to field membership or record grammar is HLP-5 and a new digest namespace.

3. What the protocol does
HLP answers one question at wrap time: while this native was locked, what did every watched chain look like? Combo is the full 22-slot field. Cluster gold is not the digest.

4. Blueprint
Five planes, data only down: Wallet → Vault → Field → Hash-link → Book. Field order is the HLP-2 22-slot tuple. HLP-4 is the live generation that writes and verifies it.

5. Verification
Rebuild SHA-256(payload) from HLP_PAYLOAD. Quad-gen accepts HLP-1 19-slot and HLP-2/3/4 22-slot payloads. H1S v1, v2, and v3 all verify. Occupancy remains 1:1.
